Zeabuz
Zeabuz is an NTNU spin-off developing autonomous navigation software and systems for electric passenger ferries. The autonomy stack integrates multi-sensor perception (lidar, radar, cameras), AI-based obstacle detection and collision avoidance, and onshore remote monitoring to achieve SAE Level 4 maritime autonomy on urban waterway routes. MF Estelle, the world's first commercial autonomous electric passenger ferry, has operated commercially on a 700-metre Stockholm harbour crossing since June 2023 under partnership with Torghatten and Brodrene Aa. The company is also contracted to deliver Norway's first green autonomous ferry for Haugesund.
