Yaskawa (Motoman NEXT)
Scoped entry: covers only Yaskawa's Motoman NEXT AI-native adaptive robot platform; parent-wide business data is not tracked.
Yaskawa's Motoman NEXT platform (launched 2024) is the industry's first adaptive industrial robot series with onboard AI autonomy. Built on NVIDIA Jetson Orin AGX running Wind River Linux, each robot carries an autonomous control unit (ACU) with NVIDIA Isaac AI libraries for real-time perception, obstacle avoidance, and adaptive path planning without pre-programming of specific paths. Seven models (NEX4/7/10/20/35 industrial + NHC12/30 cobots) provide 4-35 kg payload range. Demonstrated at IMTS and Pack Expo 2024; commercially available in North American markets.
