SAIA Agrobotics
Wageningen University & Research spin-out inverting greenhouse automation: instead of robots navigating crop rows, mobile plant gutters bring plants to stationary robotic cells for scanning, trimming and harvesting, giving the robot full visibility and access around each plant. Targets 20% yield increase with 50% total greenhouse labor reduction. Completed what it calls the world's first automated greenhouse; first customer Growers United began deploying parts of the system on-site in 2025.
