Nordic Wing
Nordic Wing designs and manufactures fixed-wing ISR drones entirely in Denmark from the former Vaerloese air base. The flagship Astero ISR (Gen 4, 4.5 kg, 135 km range, ~3.5 h endurance) flies with GPS-denied navigation software, a three-stem anti-jamming system combining software and hardware countermeasures, and a 360-degree rotating Nighthawk 2 UZ infrared camera. Astero has been deployed with Ukrainian forces since 2022 and was selected by the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU) in June 2023 for large-scale deployment; the company states 95% of Gen-4 innovations came from frontline feedback. A multi-role attack variant, Raptor, carries an explosive payload system.
