Mand.ro builds multi-DOF dexterous robotic hands. Its Mark 7 hand is composed of five Mark 7D modular robotic fingers plus one palm degree of freedom (6 DoF total), each finger individually driven by a brushless DC motor, a sensor apparatus and a two-stage reducer integrated with an embedded system. The hand is sold both as a myoelectric prosthesis and as a robotic hand for robotic/humanoid applications, and the company states its prosthetic-hand technology has evolved into development of robotic hands and humanoid robot technology.
