Levita Magnetics
Develops the MARS (Magnetic-Assisted Robotic Surgery) platform, which pairs robotic arms with the company's FDA-cleared Magnetic Surgical System to retract internal organs through magnets rather than additional incisions, giving a single surgeon complete control in laparoscopic procedures. MARS received FDA 510(k) clearance in August 2023 and is now cleared for gallbladder, bariatric, prostate, colorectal, hiatal-hernia and pediatric procedures. The platform surpassed 1,000 surgeries in July 2025, and in a 2025 RBR50-recognized first, Dr. Jeffrey Cadeddu at UT Southwestern combined MARS with Intuitive's da Vinci SP in a dual-robot prostatectomy. Founded by Chilean surgeon Dr. Alberto Rodriguez-Navarro.
