Human in Motion Robotics
XoMotion is a fully actuated, all-joint lower-limb exoskeleton that self-balances without crutches or hand support, reproducing physiological gait including sit-to-stand, stairs, slopes and turning. Spun out of Simon Fraser University research by professors Siamak Arzanpour and Ed Park. The company is integrating AI into XoMotion's motion control with 2026 BC government co-funding to move the device beyond clinics into home and community use. Health Canada Medical Device Establishment License obtained September 2024; US, EU and Asia clearances in progress.
