ExRobotics
ExR-2 and ExR-2.5 are autonomous inspection robots purpose-built for IECEx Zone 1 and ATEX-rated explosive gas atmospheres (oil & gas, chemical, petrochemical). The robot navigates autonomously using onboard sensors, executes pre-planned inspection routes without an operator, detects methane and other gas leaks, reads instruments, monitors temperature and acoustic signals, and streams data wirelessly to a remote control room. ExRobotics is scaling from single-operator deployments to fleet-manager-agnostic architecture and offers its platforms under a Robot-as-a-Service (RaaS) model. By late 2025 the company reported over 100 successful deployments across tropical, desert, and arctic environments.
