DanaDynamics

Corporate marketmarineinspectionCurated record

DanaDynamics builds autonomous surface vessels and the SKIPPER autonomous navigation system for maritime survey work. Its ASV-S maritime drone, first launched in 2019, performs unmanned hydrographic surveys in harbours and shallow waters, including side-scan of bulwarks and piling walls, with swappable payloads for other measurement tasks. SKIPPER applies deep learning for object recognition, sensor fusion and situation interpretation so vessels can navigate without human intervention, and is also sold as a retrofit autonomy add-on for workboats and RIBs. Development has been funded by the Danish Maritime Fund, Innovation Fund Denmark and Syddansk Innovation, with further autonomy work in the ShippingLab consortium and ESA BIC Denmark.
