Cortex AI
Cortex AI builds a real-world data engine for embodied AI, sourcing what it calls the largest, most diverse workplace robot and egocentric dataset rather than lab or simulated data. It collects three data types: egocentric human video with hand/body pose, depth and subtask labels; robot trajectories from manipulators and humanoids in live industrial settings; and human-in-the-loop rollouts and evaluations where remote operators recover robots when they fail, feeding recovery data back into training. Its Cortex Marketplace pays workplaces to host data-collection and evaluation sessions while giving robotics labs access to in-the-wild data. Its data has been used to help build robot foundation models such as MolmoAct2.
