Caterpillar's MineStar Command for hauling is a commercial AI-native autonomous truck system deployed at mining and quarry sites worldwide. The system uses onboard perception, path planning and fleet coordination software to enable Cat trucks to operate without human operators in the cab. In March 2025 Caterpillar launched the world's first commercially available autonomous water truck (789D AWT). Luck Stone's Bull Run Quarry (Virginia, US) is a named external commercial customer with >2M tons hauled autonomously.
