CapSen Robotics
ARM Institute member; founder Dr. Jared Glover is ARM Institute's first-ever Research Fellow. Two complementary AI-vision platforms: (1) CapSen PiC 2.0; 'Programmable AI' (PAI) for robot bin picking, assembly, and machine tending; uses 3D structured-light vision to reconstruct scene geometry and autonomously generates grasp and motion plans without CAD or explicit robot programming, enabling rapid deployment on new parts. (2) CapSen Logi-Q; autonomous tunnel inspection system using non-contact 3D scanning and AI-based defect detection/reporting, eliminating manual confined-space entry. ARM Institute collaboration demonstrated fully autonomous parting-line grinding of complex cast geometries (2024). Founded 2014 but has genuinely modernized to AI-native paradigm: PiC 2.0 (April 2024 launch) makes no use of legacy teach-pendant workflows.
