ARIS Robotics
ARIS Robotics, an SDU spin-out in the Odense Robotics StartUp Hub, builds AI-powered autonomous waste-sorting robots. Its ARIS Cortex deep-learning stack performs image-based classification of consumer waste for centralised pre-sorting of landfill streams at recycling facilities, and the 'waste detective' system is in use at several Danish recycling centers helping sort wood and plastic, with mineral wool and hazardous waste classification in development. The company received a EUR ~75K (DKK 562,000) Women TechEU award for further development. Founded in 2021 by Sina For Soltani and Ann-Mia Ambjerg with CTO Christian J. Eberhardt.
