4D1 builds a real-time location system (RTLS) that fuses ultrasonic acoustic signals with an IMU to deliver drift-free, calibration-free, millimeter-level 6DoF (position + orientation) tracking for robots, tools and operators. It streams deterministic low-latency poses into a CAD-aligned world frame to serve as spatial ground truth for physical-AI robot learning, narrowing the Sim2Real gap, plus machine control and collaborative-robot training. The stack is hardware (acoustic sensor mesh, T2 IP54 tag) plus an integration-ready positioning/data platform, sold as a ready-to-integrate component for industrial autonomy.
